Abstract
This paper presents a survey on the students’ use of and their suggestions for future use of internet based communication tools. Some of the findings are surprising as the students much prefers to communicate asynchronously with staff using e-mail and Facebook, but currently nearly all communication are via e-mail. The use of synchronous communication tools is mostly just to initiate face to face contact.
