Abstract

This interactive roundtable will delve into the use of a Web 2.0 based application called VoiceThread. Within the online teaching/learning environment, VoiceThread is an audio blogging tool that allows for audio and video collaboration. It is an engaging, online, asynchronous tool that utilizes voice, text and video for online discussion. As with any tool, effective implementation is essential. Instructional strategies will be discussed and illustrated through a variety of examples and types of usage within the online teaching/learning environment. Essential resources for implementation will also be shared.
