Abstract

Recently, interests in teaching portfolio have been rising. Though various elements are included in the electronic teaching portfolio, on-demand video will be getting more important as one of the elements of the evidence of portfolio. In this research, a case of the effective utilization of on-demand video as a resource of the electronic teaching portfolio is shown. As a result of an analysis, I could find four positive effects; (1) Improvement of teaching method, (2) Camera effects or recording’s effects, (3) Facilitation of teacher’s reflection, (4) Effects of showing the statistical data, such as the number of access of on-demand. In addition to these findings, some problems were also found. We could discuss the disadvantage of on-demand video as resources of electric teaching portfolio.
