Abstract

This poster compares learner outcomes of undergraduate students in traditional classroom based laboratory instruction for speech and hearing science as compared to an online version of the same curriculum during fall, 2007. A modified mixed research ABCABC design was used. Data were collected through pretests, post-tests, a demographics questionnaire and a satisfaction survey. All students were exposed to both of the instruction models in a counterbalanced presentation across two campuses. Results are discussed in terms of different learning outcomes by mode and differences between geographic site of presentation.
