Abstract

Teaching students to access Chalk and Wire and all of its nuances can be very time consuming and a process that may have to be repeated again and again. Creating a document that guides students through the process of using Chalk and Wire has been found to be a time saver for professors. In addition, missing artifacts in Chalk and Wire may prove to be a problem for students. Investigation into the cause found that some students are not able to navigate through Chalk and Wire as is expected. Since Chalk and Wire is used throughout our program, it seemed most expeditious to prepare a document for student use that would benefit them in all their classes as well as eliminate the necessity of spending valuable class time explaining the process involved in managing Chalk and Wire.
