Abstract

This presentation will share the experiences of pre-service teachers, cooperating K-12 teachers, and university supervisors as they participate in student teacher placements in rural school settings in South Dakota. The supervision of the student teachers is conducted through distance technology. Evaluations of the experiences provided by the pre-service teachers, cooperating teachers, and supervisors will be explored and discussed. Participants will understand the advantages and problems associated with the rural school placements and use of technology for supervision of experiences.
