Abstract
This session represents a” three pronged” effort to better prepare our Teacher Candidates to graduate as experts in integrating technology into their teaching when they finish their program at (blank University). Technology readiness for teacher candidates is a necessity critical for success in today’s K-12 classroom. What makes us unique is that we have been working as a team toward this goal. The team consists of the Program Coordinator, a University Instructional Designer and a K-12 School Media Specialist. Teachers are using Moodle, integrated multimedia, such as Interactive White Boards, document cameras, audio enhancement, student response systems, and other instructional technology. Teachers must know how to instruct seamlessly integrating appropriate technology in lesson design where appropriate in order to be hired. The three of us will present web and video evidence of our students using Smart Board technology, e-portfolios, wikis, and Google documents.
