Abstract

Web-based learning experiences have been introduced to students. Thus, it should accommodate the views of the learner about the web and its role in education. In pursue of this idea, a qualitative study was conducted to examine university students' attitudes towards the Web. Students were invited to participate in Web-based discussion as part of their learning experiences. The collected data were examined and discussed. Apart from positive and negative attitudes toward the Web, students' views were presented from a social critical perspective.
