Abstract

This procedure is recommended as a motivational technique to follow in a secondary language arts or humanities classroom to put new life into the time-honored procedure of "writing research papers." It enables the students to use pictures in addition to words to explain concepts being researched and to explore the possibilities of words in conjunction with videos to tell the whole story. The concept of research in the remote areas of rural Wyoming, with limited hard-copy resources, takes on a new dimension.
