Abstract

In this paper, we evaluate popular Web-based tools for test design, implementation, delivery, automatic grading and result analysis. We compare these tools with respect to the variety of question types that support, the capabilities for multimedia use, the security, the easiness of development, maintenance and delivery of tests, the automatic grading and the statistical analysis of the results. Based on these criteria and practical experience with the tools, we concluded that the best ones were Cyber Exam and QuestionMark Perception.
