Abstract
New Information Technologies have big potential for improving the communication processes throughout a transnational partnership. However, a Communication Manager, that handles and coordinates the communication mechanism, can greatly improve the overall communication process. An experience of Communication Management for a European partnership has shown that, despite a common belief, using an effective ICT-based communication environment still requires specific competencies, skills and attitudes that are not so common in the emerging Information Society.
