Abstract

Collaborative, synchronous, online document technology provides teachers the opportunity to perform continuous formative assessments to inform them of current student understanding so that they may reform their instruction to promote student learning. This workshop introduces a new model for performing formative assessments using these free online tools and provides an opportunity for participants to develop formative assessment instruments of their own.
