In 2005 Walsh University approved the use of electronic delivery for hybrid or blended learning experiences. The original commitment was that the course must continue to have at least 50% traditional instructor in the classroom. This faculty member joined the project in 2005-2006 and has continued to teach graduate education courses using Sakai, the Walsh application framework. The researcher-teacher compares graduate student perceptions from that first year with graduate student perceptions during 2009. Anecdotal records of how the process has evolved, problems solved, and new challenges to be faced are discussed. The researcher will also reflect on the quality of learning which occurred and on the goal of helping K-12 teachers be more comfortable with technology in their own classrooms.
