Abstract

Higher education institutions recognize the technology needs of “digital native” learners. However, many institutions have been forced to reduce budgets and make significant cost-saving cuts. With technology and support budgets dwindling, this virtual brief paper seeks to offer faculty and instructional technology staff seven innovative ideas for integrating technology into the curriculum for our millennial learners—with relatively low costs. Each solution is discussed in the context of current research and literature. This virtual brief paper will include an extensive Powerpoint covering these items. This is a work-in-progress which lays the foundation for future research on best practices
