Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is twofold: (a) to introduce a Web 2.0 project designed to assist pre-service teachers in understanding integration of Web 2.0 technologies in classroom environments and (b) to report the evaluation study of the project. The project was developed based on five attributes of meaningful learning proposed by Jonassen, Howland, Marra, and Crismond (2008). 41 pre-service teachers participated in the project for a semester and their satisfaction and acquired knowledge were measured. Detailed implementation processes of the project and evaluation results will be provided.
