Abstract
Moving any standard college course online requires considerable reassessment and restructuring of instructional design and methodology. Teaching General Physics in an online environment is a particular challenge in view of its specifics which includes visualization of the material, problem solving as the main activity, and hands-on lab experiences. An accelerated format of the course adds new challenges. Theoretical approach, research and practical implications of an online fast-paced Physics course are discussed.
