Abstract
The present reality of Colleges of Education is that of high stakes accreditation accountability. No longer can Colleges submit syllabi and student test scores in order to meet accreditation standards. Performance-based standards have compelled colleges of education to find ways to gather, organize, store and assess student artifacts in efficient, standards-based manners. To this end, many colleges are turning to companies that offer digital assessment systems to more efficiently document student learning and program improvement in order to meet accreditation requirements.
