Abstract

This paper introduces our experience of adopting Wikibook writing as a class activity to enhance collaborative learning. Students decided the work format of Wikibook writing and topics for the Wikibook and chapters. Students wrote individual chapters but received feedback and comments from peers when preparing content outlines and during chapter writing. Students felt good for this experience and appreciated peers’ feedback on their chapters. This Wikibook writing activity was adopted in a face-to-face class; however, the authors anticipate that the Wikibook writing activity will enhance collaborative learning in an e-learning environment as well.
