Abstract
In North America universities are facing increased enrolments without concomitant increases in resources. Consequently class sizes are increasing and faculty members, especially in the Social Sciences and Humanities are being asked to teach more and more students with fewer and fewer resources. The question then becomes what role an educational technology consultant has in finding and implementing alternative approaches that address these issues. This poster portrays the role of one educational technology consultant (ETC) in an experimental technological innovation using pod/vod casting to enhance classroom-based instruction in the Faculty of Social Sciences at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
