Abstract
This paper discusses the use of the TPACK framework to examine the existing literature regarding effective online teaching. Topics include exploring the relationships between and among content knowledge, technological knowledge, and pedagogical knowledge as they relate to the field of online teaching. Key research in each of these areas is reviewed with the goal of better understanding what comprises the elements of effective online teachers.
