Abstract

Abstract: Although many education programs in higher education provide technology courses and training opportunities for preservice teachers, it is important to also consider the importance of teacher modeling. Those education faculty who are teaching courses need to demonstrate proficiency and creativity in lesson planning and delivery to demonstrate effective teaching using technology. Johnson, Chapman, and Dyer (2006) noted that pedagogies will change to recognize the way young people learn with technology and outcomes and measureable outputs will need to reflect this.
