Abstract

The "Jurimatic" project is aimed at (1) getting the law faculty online and (2) improving and activating the existing learning environment of the introductory course to law at the Law Faculty and the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences. This has been achieved by adapting an existing electronic learning environment to the specific needs of computer assisted legal instruction, which has implied the development of new "tailor made" question types, i.e. half-closed and supported-open questions. Moreover, this e-learning tool has been successfully embedded into the curriculum and has proved to stimulate active reflective learning.
