Abstract
The purpose of the study is to explore the effectiveness of WebQuest on elementary school students' higher-order thinking (HOT), learning motivation, and English learning achievement. This experiment uses a quasi-experimental design to test the research hypothesis about the effectiveness of different instructional strategies in improving students' HOT, learning motivation, and English learning achievement. The participants are 108 six-grade students in three classes enrolled at a large elementary school. This study reports an ongoing project that empirically investigates of the effectiveness of WebQuest on elementary school students' HOT, learning motivation, and English learning achievement. The results of this study will help teachers implement WebQuest on elementary English teaching education.
