Abstract

Abstract: We present some results and analysis of our ongoing research into social network effects identified in communication channels employed in distributed learning courses. By dwelling on the communication patterns among class members we will analyze relationships between different communication channels, formation of social network structures, perceived degrees of respect and influence, and satisfaction with learning outcomes.
