Abstract

In this session, the presenters will report the findings of a survey of the current status and future trends of blended learning in corporate settings across different cultures. About 400 adults in various workplace settings in five countries (e.g., Korea, China, Taiwan, Untied Kingdom, and United States) participated in this online survey. Findings of this study are expected to reveal which technologies and instructional strategies are currently used for blended learning in these different countries as well the emerging technologies and trends surrounding the field of blended learning in training settings. Also, the perceptions of the respondents regarding the benefits of blended learning and the barriers to implementing it in their organization will be analyzed. Of interest will be cross-cultural comparisons of respondent perceptions concerning the key issues, benefits, and implications related to implementing blended learning approaches across training environments.
