Abstract

Technology leadership is essential for the effective integration of technology in schools. Principals need to understand how technology supports teaching and learning in order to make informed decisions and develop a vision for technology in the school, and technology coordinators also need to develop their potential as school leaders. One school district embarked on an initiative to develop technology leadership in its principals and technology coordinators. The study discussed in this paper focused on two principals and two technology coordinators from schools participating in this technology leadership initiative. Results of the study highlighted the importance of the relationship between technology coordinators and principals in developing technology leadership.
