This paper discusses the ways in which interpersonal relations in e-learning should be reviewed in order to achieve effective results in instruction. The principles of effective communication are reconsidered in adapting them to online instruction. In what ways can the constructivism help us establishing efficient online interactions? Is a social context present in online learning and what are these aspects? What rules are required for efficient communication online? What approaches should we establish in order to produce as a final outcome of, self directed learners (SDL)?
