Abstract

The practicum for video-production in higher education has been increasing in Japan. In the practicum for video production, it hands-on experiences that operation of camera and editing machine, because there isn't enough time in the school. It is, however, important to learn how director's intention is expressed in the video title. So, the authors developed web-based learning materials for video production, whose objectives are followings: 1) To understand the director's intention reflected in the video production, 2) To write planning sheet and composition paper reflecting the director's intention, 3) To know the way to express the director's intention to the video production in shooting and editing. This paper suggests the process of developing of Web-based learning material. The authors explain the web learning materials for producing documentary.
