Abstract

As many higher education institutions shift to offering larger size class sections, faculty are often left searching for effective pedagogical and evaluation strategies to meet the needs of students and to ensure high quality standards in an online and web-enhanced environment. This session will share the experiences and outcomes of a collaborative faculty learning community that explored large-scale teaching strategies. Specifically, this interdisciplinary faculty community explored technology applications and pedagogical techniques to enhance teaching large-scale classes. Specific strategies, outcomes, and lessons learned will be presented.
