Abstract
Portfolios as a curriculum assessment mechanism offer great insight into a student's developmental progress. It is only natural that Schools embrace online portfolios or ePortfolios. Christ Church Grammar School has been using ePortfolios for eighteen months and whilst the journey has had its difficulties it is proving to be an extremely positive process. This demonstration will take the audience through the benefits of en ePortfolio system and will include an overview of a co-developed ePortfolio system called Edukite and how such systems can enhance student assessment and parent feedback. 'Every night is a parent night' is our ePortfolio motto. Parents are excited that they can access their child's work anytime from anywhere. For busy, working parents this is a real bonus. Teachers love the flexibility this ePortfolio system gives them. They can easily tailor work for individual learning needs, see who has not submitted work and most importantly track progress within Learning Areas across a period of time.
