Abstract

This paper is a case study exploring an initiative called TIG (Technology Integration Group) developed at two K-12 American international schools. The TIG supports the use of technology for teaching and learning and encourages the diffusion of good teaching practices. It attempts to outline some strategies for widespread, sustained, substantive, and collaborative change. The TIG and the strategies are seen through the lens of organizational research and change theories. The paper is a discussion of the TIG. It identifies some essential ideas to extend the initiative's experiences, and makes recommendations to sustain the adoption of the TIG and assist its evolution.
