Abstract
This paper will examine the effective use of imagery, or visuals, in learning. Preparing learners for a digital world in the 21st century means a closer look at the new literacies and the power of imagery. Students must be taught how to critically view and constructively use imagery as one form of media in a cultural and digital world.
