Abstract
Abstract: Electronic portfolios as an alternative assessment are quickly becoming viable in higher education. Designing an e-portfolio system which meets the needs of many departments for a variety of purposes is a challenge. In this poster we will describe an innovative project at a Midwestern university which democratically addresses some of these challenges. We give an overall description of the project, and then we focus on the particular theme designed for the Curriculum and Instructional Technology department, which prepares teacher educators in its doctoral program.
