Abstract
Presentation of findings from a pilot study using a web resource developed for elementary education majors in art education courses. The website includes examples of art making activities and ways to relate art to real life and other subjects in the K-8 curriculum. Students were asked to evaluate the effectiveness of this resource in developing their knowledge and understanding. Art Education majors were also questioned and their responses with compared with non-majors. Students found the resource helped generate ideas for curriculum development and greater understanding about process and creation in art.
