Abstract

This paper focuses on technology planning. Keep It SIMPLE is a technology planning strategy. SIMPLE is an acronym representing six areas which should be addressed in developing and implementing a technology plan – 1) staff/student assessment, 2) inventory, 3) measurement, 4) planning, 5) leadership, and 6) evaluation. Each component of SIMPLE was gleaned through a review of research covering the past seven years. These six components represent common threads throughout the literature on the subject of technology planning.
