Abstract
Apple iMovie software can be used by classroom teachers as a means of documenting effective teaching practices in the learning community. This type of video project can be done quite easily now that digital video camera and video editing software such as iMovie are readily available. Using these tools, teacher educators and teacher candidates are able to document powerful learning experiences to share with other educators. University faculty and teacher candidates learn 1) about the technical features and operation of the videocamera, 2) how to effectively organize and implement a classroom video project with their students, 3) the basics of editing using iMovie, and 4) how to add transitions, voice narrative, and captions to elements of the video.
