Abstract

Providing on-line programs for pre-service teachers has presented many issues. Assessing the effectiveness of one's teaching in the classroom is difficult under the best of circumstances; doing so through distance education is even more challenging. The program at Fort Lewis College has addressed these issues and, while resolving many of them, has developed some concerns that require further study.
