Abstract
University of the Incarnate Word's teacher preparation program is addressing the challenge of preparing technology-literate teachers by providing pivotal opportunities during the student teaching experience for the student teachers, mentor teachers, and university supervisors to combine learned pedagogy with the everyday technology realities of the classroom. This new transformed student teaching experience is in its second year and has proven to be very effective and rewarding for the student teachers, the mentor teachers, and university supervisors. This presentation will explore the successes and challenges of transforming the experience.
