Abstract

This presentation will focus on a teacher education course focused on effective pedagogical practices for technology integration. The course is the second piece of a redesign effort to change a traditional three credit hour technology course into three one-hour courses distributed throughout the teacher education program. We will discuss the materials we are using with this course, their development and the feedback that we have received from their use. In addition, we will discuss the benefits and challenges that we have faced in making this change in how we teach pre-service teachers about technology.
