Abstract

This paper gives an overview of a current faculty development initiative at Xavier University of Louisiana. The initiative aims to foster the creation of multimedia CD-ROMs and websites. The initiative pairs faculty "content experts" with staff "form experts" to work through a series of defined phases. Particular attention is given to the initial design phase. This initiative lends itself to replication at other institutions that wish to promote faculty creativity with multimedia.
