Abstract

Abstract: This paper reports the rise of video streaming for educators and learners for online education. The development of today's technology has made it possible for pedagogically appropriate full videos or video clips to be created and make available to the students via the Internet for easy access. There is no need to download the entire video to the computer before playing it. Downloading and viewing can happen simultaneously. The main choice for developers at the moment is the crucial compromise between image quality, window size and accessibility (bandwidth issue) to remote users. It concludes that Video Streaming can fulfill at least the same role as conventional video tapes with the advantage of easy availability and flexibility.
