Abstract

Our objectives of this research are to examine (i) why we use technology, including multimedia, in the classrooms, (ii) how teachers integrate technology into their classrooms, and (iii) the effect this integration has on the students. Through this research we intend to investigate, analyze, and address the following hypotheses: the key to the success of integrating technology in the classroom is the teacher, the teachers' need to understand the use of technology in the classroom, and the teachers' need to have time to review the software and figure out how it fits into their classes/lessons.
