Abstract
One of the primary concerns for the developer of an educational website is how to approach the problems of design and development. A tried and true methodology of systems development from industry is the "waterfall" method. With a few modifications, this method can be applied to the design and development of educational website development. This process provides the developer with a structured, sequential methodology. In this treatment, the basic structure and implementation of the waterfall model is discussed and examined as it pertains to the case of an educational website. It's advantages and disadvantages are also explored.
