One problem when teaching interpersonal skills online is learners' lack of skills practice. Given the online learning environment is deficient in face to face interaction and self-regulated, it is difficult to ensure learners' skills practice despite its significance on the skills improvement. The purpose of this session is to identify what factors will influence learners' skills in online interpersonal skills training. Facilitators and deterrents of skills practice in online interpersonal skills training will be identified through a case study. Mental practice will be discussed as an alternative to physical skills practice in online learning.
