Abstract

A nurse educator describes the integration project designed to prepare university nursing students with computer competencies. The author has formalized the introduction of computer skills and concepts of nursing informatics into an existing nursing curriculum. The project is a description of the types of suggested assignments designed for student learning. A brief reference to faculty preparation for integrating these items into their courses is also included.
