Abstract
College of Education at Shinshu University introduced the HDTV-based mobile distance learning system which was developed by Infinitec Co., Ltd., and Realmedia Lab. We use it to promote preservice and inservice teachers' professional development. The system enables us to transmit the 16:9 wide picture/screen and high-definition image quality between university campus and our demonstration schools.
