Abstract

Although technological advances have brought art forms to exciting new levels and frontiers, many art educators are concerned that the individual creative potential of our youth is being compromised and in some cases, replaced, by technology. This paper examines the effects of society and technology on the creative growth and development of children and the implications for early childhood education. Implications focus on applications for effective teaching, methodologies and curricula.
