Abstract
This poster session aims at introducing an on-going technology integration project of the Japanese language courses at California State University, Sacramento. In this project, a team has collaboratively developed innovative online materials, identified useful technology as well as effective instructional approach to facilitate students learning. To enhance the Japanese language learning, this project has four sub-projects: (1) development of the WebCT course material; (2) development of an innovative on-line resource page to assist the WebCT course development and student learning; (3) integration of an interactive multimedia language learning system (IMC - Diva©e Duo) into teaching and learning; (4) devising effective instructional strategies via use of the Smart Classroom and computer lab. The anonymous and non- anonymous survey results for the last two years will be shared. The audience will learn multiple ways to engage students with meaningful learning.
