Abstract

Throughout the world, educators are struggling to discover a smooth path to the interactive highway of 21st century digital communications. As a result, a need has emerged to access strategies of program development that seamlessly interface with existing missions and resources. The purpose of this paper is to describe the processes and impact of utilizing interactive videoconferencing between external content experts and students in K-12 classrooms. The presentation will also include the project development model that provides a strategy for employing live access to external providers via videoconferencing. Participants will learn how VIEW brings master teachers together with content provider personnel to lay a foundation for transforming teaching pedagogy and instructional practice. Project VIEW will demonstrate the process of collaborative educational delivery.
