Abstract
This symposium will describe and provide examples of professional development models aimed at preparing inservice teachers to become technology mentors for preservice teacher candidates. Each author will present a brief paper that describes his/her approach to professional development (PD), strategies for evaluating PD, and lessons learned. The discussant will summarize implementation themes that occur across each of the models, discuss issues that must be addressed when designing evaluations for university/school technology professional development partnerships, and direct participants’ questions around professional development implementation and evaluation issues.
